Hi All,

After some advice from a mix of areas.

Has anyone provided an internet connection to an adult student for use at home? If so, how?

Or does anyone have any ideas how we could do this in the safest way for both the student and ourselves. My thoughts are that it would need to be filtered, but does anyone know how we can provide this? Or could we pay for the connection out of "hardship funds", and the connection be in the student's name - where may we stand legally if there were to be some issue with the connection?

Any help appreciated.

Sure,

it can be done via either a private DSL or 3G which is filtered at a network level.

We've done quite a few roll outs of 3G connectivity with our Lightspeed filtering and integrated MDM on Android and Apple tablets.

PM me if its of any interest as its not ridiculously expensive.

Thanks

Dave

Hi,

This is a service we provide as standard to a number of customers that provide distance learning or support for Children excluded from school. Pricing is £25 a month for a DSL connection.

hi,

There are varying options available. Often we can do that including the line rental, but will depend on expected data usage. If you drop [email protected] an email they should be able to let you know what we can do.

I hope that helps.
