Adobe CS6 Serial

Hi All,

 

I have installed Adobe CS6 Design & Web Premium onto a Windows XP Image. During installation I inserted the serial key etc....all working fine. When the image was sys prepped I then realised Adobe was asking for the serial key again when loaded up. Does anyone know how I can insert the serial key to all the desktops? I have ran the serialization tool and created the executable file but no success. Any ideas without having to do it manually.

Search through registry. Probably under local_machine_software\adobe

the serial tool should allow you the program to register/serial itself.

i believe that adobe projects are "aware" of being imaged/ghosted/sysprepped which scrambles the license for a better word, passing the serial tool command at logon might be an easier way round this for example and save you having to manually apply it.

Wasn't this a CS6 "bug" mentioned on here before?

 

I know that I deployed CS5 Master without issues but I did use the Adobe admin tools to create our own version and it never had any SN issues.

CS6 is indeed aware that it has been sysprepped and kills the keys off. If you set up serialize.exe with your details and then call it as a machine start up script, it seems to work perfectly. We did try it as a login script and didn't have much joy.
