What are some of the big disadvantages of using MAC OS X LION?

The main disadvantage is you would be using a mac (I assume that's what OP was after)

 

Seriously though its fairly fast and stable. Mountain Lion feels a more finished product but Lion is just fine and dandy.

Depends if they are updating all the bad points such as the filing system. If not then they are barking up the wrong tree

I was looking forward to the day they come out with OSX Pink Panther, could have been a name for OSX 10.4. You know like Leopard and snow leopard. Lion and then Mountain Lion. Panther then Pink Panther.
