[ms office - 2010] Set up email in outlook via simple script?

We use an external exchange server here, provided by our LEA. This means there is no automation between their server and our AD.

 

When a new user is set up, we have to manually setup Outlook on their machine, entering the server details etc...

 

Does anyone have a little tool of some form which could do this for us? ie. The first time a user logs in, they are prompted to enter their email username and password, and it sets it all up for them?

No, as the username is not the same as their internal username - it is entirely separate. So, they need to be asked to enter their account name, username and password to do it.

 

EDIT: If no-one else has such a widget, I'll create one in C#, which crafts a custom PRF and imports it.
