New folders in Home Drives - Ownership

Hi all,

 

An issue has popped up recently where any new folders made by someone in their own home drive, the owner is set to the 'Administrators' group rather than them. I can't seem to find a fix for this. Any ideas?

Who owns the folder it is in to begin with, such as there home drive. If the owner of their home drive folder, is the Administrators group, then new sub folders would also be owned by them.

After a bit more digging it turns out it was only folders/files made during June, anything before or after that sets the correct owner.. which I thought was odd. Fixed up all the permissions now anyway and it's working, thank you anyway @Achandler

You can use chown.exe with a script to reset them in bulk if you have further issues.
