Does anyone know why this empty on Assessment Manager or how to populate it? I found it in Additional Columns but even kids with current FSM are unpopulated, the entire column is blank.

You have to go to the Key2Success web site and download the data using CTF import. It would be so much nicer if there was a data stream option!

Thanks Phil. I visited K2S to attempt to re-import it and it only shows a CSV file though. Have they stopped CTF downloads?

Just looking at this.

 

I'm presuming you can use Routines -> Date in -> Import CTF . Then add data for existing pupils. But from here I'm not sure which tick boxes to have or not have..

 

Don't want to try and import anything that may overwrite existing information.

How funny, was just designing a report for LAC kids and spotted this too.....

Now Secure Access insisted on resetting the school's password because the page timed out. Gaaaahhhhhhh!!!! >.<

 

Still no CTF file, I'll have to see if our bursar has it and report back if it worked re-importing that copy. Otherwise DfE Contact Us page is an oh so helpful "Talk to your LA if you have problems."

I may be wrong here but this is what I was told by my local SIMS support team - you have to manually populate that field. I questioned it because it seemed really awkward that you have to import historical FSM data to SIMS, then run a report from SIMS to see who is eligible for Ever6, then populate the field. Rinse and repeat every now and then for new/no longer eligible pupils. I was told the reason SIMS doesn't auto populate it is because the DfE explicitly said they don't want that happening as it's related to funding...

@PhilNeal - does that all sound about right or is there a button somewhere in SIMS I'm missing that will auto populate the Pupil Premium field based on FSM history?

That's fair enough, it just seems bizarre to me that we have to manually populate a field that we can only populate using data taken from SIMS (i.e. the FSM history provided as a CTF by K2S)... but if that's the way it is, that's the way it is!

There's a tick box in the "Additional Information" panel of Student Details, or you can do a bulk update via the usual routine
