supawat1 Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 There are two final contractors that propose us with two different projectors to be installed in our School Classroom. If you could help me to decide of which one would you go for? BenQ 815MXST or Hitachi CPA222NW. One of them said DLP is the proof of the future and another said LCD gives you better color. Thanks Supawat
rad Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 We have BenQ going in at the moment. Trouble free so far, some have been in over a year if not longer
truebluesteve Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 We have 3 of the Hitachi short throws (think its the model you are describing) and they are really good. They have tons of inputs and soon good software to control them remotely. Can't really comment on the BenQ as we only have one and its fairly basic.

Can you get reports of lamp and filter life via SNMP, or do you have to use Hitachi's own software?

We use the Hitachi software but there may well be SNMP traps you can use - I will take a look and let you know 1
