[ipad] Help making a .PAC File to include HTTPS Proxy

Hi guys,

 

We are having terrible troubles with a lot of services not working across our proxy server (council owned) on ipad devices. We can't get mail application to work for any provider, cant stream videos etc

 

I believe this might be due to the fact ipads don't support HTTPS proxy details without creating a .pac file

 

Has anyone overcome the above by creating a .pac file? If so how do I go about making one?

Its a total nightmare, the school has bought lots of ipads and we can't use them effectively at the moment

Just create a notepad file and then change the extension to .pac.

 

I don't know where you'd then put it to make the Devil Pads respond correctly, though. My last experiments were failures.
