ipod 5th gen mandarin to english app (translation) (Chinese Simplified)

I was hoping someone could tell me if they know of an app like worldlens that can turn English into Mandarin (Chinese Simplified) and any other apps for a non-English pupil. I have a 5th gen ipod touch at my disposal and a £25 iTunes card.

Google translate can be very accurate as I have used it with a Chinese speaker here.
