Securenet....?

Only a short time to go until we ditch SWGfL in favour of SchoolsBroadband but I have a problem that's just been dropped on my lap....

 

Our finance and exams people use "RM Securenet Plus". Now I've no idea what this is or what it does, their explanations to me sound like nothing but a hosted ftp or some sort but I'm still confused. Can anyone explain to me what this service does and what alternatives there are?

Looks to me like it's some kind of web-based secure FTP thing.

 

Looking at the link @plexer found it appears you can purchase it for £60-ish per annum so just continue to pay!

We were using RM Securenet but we were told by our LEA that we had to change to the new A2C migration system for exams:

Interesting, it seems we're using both then. Our exams officer is using A2C but our finance department wants to use securenet. Does the A2C system have the same facilities and capabilities as securenet?

A2C is only for exam entries so finance will have to use something else.
