kearton Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Bit of a strange request... but for those of you who listen to Planet Rock, you'll have heard the "and this is our doorbell" jingle featuring the 7-note Doorbell chime of the intro to Deep Purple's Smoke On The Water. I can't find this anywhere on t'Internet so am guessing they made it themselves? (because Everything is on t'Internet, right? Doe anyone know of any software on website that lets you make/save tunes like this please??

I actually want the sound for my phone (e.g for message notification etc) not for a doorbell. It just SOUNDS like a doorbell. ding diing diiing, ding diing diiiing diiing...

There are many programs that allow you to edit a sound (audacity is one) so you could record the bit you want, edit it and then upload to a phone or whatever, couldnt you? But it would sound like Smoke on the Water and NOT a doorbell - which can only be a good thing Or, maybe record a keyboard playing in "chime" mode if there is one? Audacity has lots of methods of changing the sound so you might be able to do something there Edited June 21, 2013 by witch
