Question aboult bolts

If a hole on a data cabinet is 10mm wide, what size bolt would one use to screw through this to put the cabinet onto the wall? I'd ask our site team but nobody is around right now.

 

Stupid question I'm sure... but it's Friday.

I'll add that I am not doing the fixing, just need to pick up some bolts to do it.

12mm with a flat head. Also, the screw should be +4 inches if not +5 long.

I'd go with an M8 or M10 coach screw, large washer and suitable rawlplug.

Try 12mm Rawlbolts. They should do the trick.

Second the rawlbolts need a really good fix on walls and they are the best I find, only other way I have done is threaded bar resin'd to the wall with that stuff designed to make things float over nothingness and they will never move again

Tell that to the child's parents who gets a rack on them that kills them / severely memes them

 

Plastic Plugs are not for anything of substance, I have pulled racks off walls easily with them as they don't bite or grip as well as the metal bolts do. Dangerous things if your mounting a rack so a few quid on bolts is well spent IMHO.
