pCounter on on 2008R2 on HyperV

I wonder if anyone has had issues running pCounter (Altman) on a virtualised 2008R2 machine in HyperV2012

 

We have it setup - I can map a printer via IP address but when we send it to the printer through the pCounter mapped drive it reaches the printer queue but doesn't reach the printer.

 

I know I'm missing something - but what?

Are they HP printers by chance?

 

If so and you are using the Universal Printing Driver there is a kown problem where you have to change from TCP/IP to LPR.

No - they are KM drivers for MFDs

Any chance its a firewall setting? Pcounter ports communicate over 9100

We have a KM MFD setup outside of PCounter and if you don't put the password in for user 'account track' it just drops the job, are your KMs setup this way?
