[sims] Remote access to Nova T6

We have Nova T6 running for Timetabling. We also have a very close link with a sister school and one of our Assistant Head's has asked me to enable a member of the SMT at the sister school to have remote access to our T6 so he can work on our timetable - strange but true:rolleyes:

 

We also run Bromcom but as far as I'm aware that doesn't access T7.

 

Any suggestion on the way to achieve this?

A cheap quick way to do it would be to setup something like http://www.logmein.com. A terminal server is what we use but it sounds a bit overkill.

I agree, setup logmein on a machine that they can use.

Another option is to install Novasatellite which allow you to export from live system and work offline then import back in when onsite. My data manager works offline at home then comes in when she has finished timetable and imports it .
