Windows 8, IE 10 users Can't log in

Hi.

 

This will probably be something silly that I've missed, but I'm being told that users can't log in from IE10 on Win 8.

 

When trying to access the logon page is presented fine, but after entering the user credentials nothing happens. I have tried myself & experienced the same issue, but all works great from other browsers.

Hmmm, very odd, I use Windows 8 on my tablet and it works logs in fine. Are you hitting enter or clicking login? Have to tried the other?

Yes, we've tried both ways. I've just seen a thread mentioning a hotfix for IE-10, so I'm going to try that when I get home...

 

Maybe that'll sort it. I'll let you know any way.

Wasn't there talk in another thread that IE10 fails to pick up proxy settings; perhaps that's got something to do with it?

I had this issue on Win7 with IE10, I set the site to work in compatability mode and it seems to work fine. Can't find out how to set it on my Win8 tablet yet though.

This is the other thread I found. This hotfix installs on the server, and it did fix this issue for us.

Just to tidy up.

I couldn't log into HAP with IE10 either from a Win7 box (HAP 9.1) but the hotfix you linked seemed to have fixed the issue.
