That is ridiculous though. If you're talking games, you could probably get 80% of the performance for 10% of the price, and 90% for 20%. No reason to spend that much except bragging rights, and I prefer my forum signatures a little cheaper, thanks.

used to be fun doing that sort of customisation with an alienware build, adding in all the extras to see the laughable price.

Old CPUs (x5690 rather than E5 series and old motherboard as well) and slow RAM (where's the 2800MHz DDR3?)... and come on... just water cooling? where's the Liquid nitrogen

I thought that line was a risky one to drop in too - I remember reading about 1GB HDD's and thinking "who on Earth would need that much storage on their home PC?!"

55Ghz total.... pet peeve of mine, hate it when they combine the core frequencies.....

 

Windows 7.... so last year...

You're right. The Titan is completely different from the GTX 680 and 690. It's essentially a cheaper Tesla K20.
