Below is a copy and paste from the advert. It's a very nice school and would suit someone looking to step up from an IT Tech and with drive and vision to move the school forward.

 

The governors are seeking to appoint a full-time ICT Network Manager who will manage the maintenance and development of ICT equipment and provision across the school.

 

St Bernadette’s is a large three-form entry Catholic school with well-resourced provision for ICT. We are looking for someone who is flexible, self-motivated and a good communicator, to work with a dedicated staff and motivated pupils, to help enhance the already effective provision of ICT within the school. You will work closely with the ICT co-ordinator and Faculty Leader to identify training needs and support as well as planning future developments.

 

The school is well-resourced in terms of ICT with Interactive Whiteboards, visualisers, computers and a Virtual Learning Environment for use within school and at home. The role involves working closely with a range of colleagues within the school setting. As a result, it is essential that you are able to work as part of a team as well as being able to use your own initiative.
