Teacher Alert Systems

Hi

 

We used to use the RM Tutor classroom management system which had a feature which allowed students to notify the teacher if they required help by clicking a button on the task bar, and then a notification appeared on the teachers machine.

 

We now use ABTutor,which doesnt have this feature, but I wondered if anyone knew of a stand-alone solution that would give me this ability. Potentially a program that could run on all out machines and link to a tutor machine.

 

We are running Windows 7 on Sever 2003 (hoping to upgrade to Server 2008 very soon)

THANKS - although you make a fair point - we have this already and its very hard for some teachers to have eyes everywhere and we used to like the fact a student counld notify that they were struggling with one area, move onto another while waiting for help, and the teacher moves around all the students struggling systematically, rather than the pupils sitting waiting with their hand up doing no work!
