DrFrankenMouse Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 What are the permissions required on an AD machine account just to rename it and no other admin functions. I'd like to initiate renames on the client side without using a domain admin account. Thanks DFM
john Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Domain Admin permissions I would guess, but have never dug too deep. They would need write access to the Active D to rename it as well as Admin over the local PC.
