thimon Posted October 6, 2025 Posted October 6, 2025 Rust. Love how the devs have kept updating the game throughout its life, some good, some questionable!

Rust is a game I haven't played for years - I think I last played around 2013 -2014 when it was in early access. I loved my time with it though, especially with a good group. I've always been wanting to go back, but I remember it almost being like a full time job in regards to protecting your base as it was vulnerable when offline. Is that still the case? Or is it a little more casual than it used to be? In regards to my gaming...it is Fortnite at the moment. Love it or hate it, it can be a lot of fun. I can't think of any other game where you can be run over by KITT being driven by a Power Ranger, while being chased by the Terminator and his friend Darth Maul, who is wielding a mini-gun. Great for when friends and I are short on time. Edited October 6, 2025 by Cat_Jam148
Olliedawg Posted October 6, 2025 Posted October 6, 2025 I play Destiny 2 with a couple of work colleagues, good laugh! The game has gone seriously downhill in recent times unfortunately. Other than that, not so much nowadays. I used to be an avid WoW player back in the day.

Great for when friends and I are short on time. It depends on what server you join. I usually join monthly wiped servers with 2x gather rate, population around 150 - 200 players. If you build simple bases and get over gear fear it can be a lot of fun. I usually build small cosy bases and role play. 1
samdelam Posted June 3 Posted June 3 I'm super interested in Eve but fear that it may be a very addictive game!
MinnieTechie Posted June 15 Posted June 15 These days it’s mostly Rocket League and the occasional bit of WoW when I have enough time. I still prefer games I can jump into for half an hour without needing to remember a full storyline or commit to a three-hour session. I’m definitely not as good at competitive games as I used to think I was, though.
ICTDirect_Joe Posted June 15 Posted June 15 I've played Smite (3rd person MOBA) and now more recently Smite 2 for the last decade at this point, and carry on because its a game that 4 of us have always played together. Recently been playing PEAK with a large group, as you can mod it to have a party size bigger than 4 and that's a good laugh. Going to try out Meccha Chameleon (the hide and seek painting game) as again, it looks fun to play as a group!
MicraMan Posted June 16 Posted June 16 I usually rotate my favourite 2 atm being DBD and Rocket league and play anything that's semi newish for example the new forza atm. Just started playing Grounded with colleagues I was surprise and it was better than I thought.
Garacesh Posted June 16 Posted June 16 Grounded was pretty fun, and the sequel looks to be coming on really well, but I'm waiting for the full release before I jump into it.
