Printing Problems Excel

this is a bit of strange one suddenly no one can print from excel 2010 to either Adobe PDF or to our network printers, it displays "Your File Could Not Be Printed To Due A Error on (printer name)" but printing from word is fine to both, have done a lot of digging on the internet but haven't found anything successful so decided to delete the printer queue and re-add it back on our server which seems to have kick the printing back into life for the network printers, but still the same error message appears when printing to "Adobe PDF" I am sure if i delete the printer and re-add it the problem will go away but I am some 500 devices with this on and is going to be pain to have to go through each pc/laptop and delete and re-add the printer.

 

can anyone shed any light on this or suggest a fix other than deleting printers and re-adding.

I had a similar problem once and it was to do with the paper size the software was trying to select.

thanks for your response I have manage to get excel printing to the network printers now by deleting the ques on the printer server setting them back up again and that fix that, but i rebuilt a machine and still get the same error messages for the adobe printer.

spoke to soon, just had a report that someone cant print from excel again with the same error message as before, so the fix last for a few days.
