synaesthesia Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Including this silly moobag: BBC News - Norfolk police officer 'sues garage burglary victim' Assuming of course it is correct as reported, then clearly this silly git of a police officer used to work as the clumsy cow from the Injury Lawyers 4 U Adverts. I hate people like that.
truebluesteve Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 It does leave a bad taste but its typical of the litigious society we live in today. Lets hope it gets booted out of court as she should have had a torch.
rich_tech Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 considering the chief police officer of her force has waded into this now denouncing the officers actions, I can only imagine the officers future in the force is facing a fair bit of scrutiny here with this as its got national attention, same for the law firm, they are going to be getting a lot of unwelcome attention from all of this.
Disaster Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 I heard she didn't complete a risk assessment before going into the garage, so this shouldn't go far. Chortle!
tech_guy Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 (edited) This is bad. Very bad. If the case proceeds and she wins then we become as it is in America and everybody starts suing each other over trivial things. And to be nasty; the fatty PC needs to spend more time on a treadmill and less time in McDonalds.... Edited April 3, 2013 by tech_guy
Andrew_C Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 l and less time in McDonalds.... I thought it was traditionally a doughnut shop?
VeryPC Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 (edited) Blood. Boiling. Also: When I got this letter I was anxious and worried. It's left a sour taste in my mouth. Good on him for eating the letter - treat it with the respect it deserves. Ink can be rather tart though. Al Edited April 3, 2013 by VeryPC
