Hey Guys,

Would anyone using a SWGFL (preferrably .devon.sch.uk) upstream be able to try out and confirm whether or not these 3x sites work for them?

https://owa.southdartmoor.devon.sch.uk/owa

http://vle.southdartmoor.devon.sch.uk/

http://sandbox.southdartmoor.devon.sch.uk

(all 3 should resolve to a 46.60.251.9x address and not respond to pings)

SWGfL can't see anything immediately wrong, their DNS servers have the correct addresses in but the FQDNs for these 3 sites don't work.

This is a blank page to help you get started

Seems fine to me up in gloucs.sch.uk

They all work for me in Cornwall. however I have a problem with some hosted sites:

If a withing SWGfL could try them for me...I'd be grateful.

They seem fine to me. :)

Sorry slightly off topic but what is the sandbox?

a box of sand? :)

It's the name that was demanded for an internet-facing webserver for kids work. (Un)fortunately they don't seem to get taught properly about how websites work, so very few of them have index files.

Do they each get their own area so that they can have individual indexs files? A Teacher here asked me something similar but I wasnt sure if it was possible as I am not too clued up on how websites work other than using wysiwyg editors.

Our Y11's who are taking Dida have their own webserver with unique folders for them to test their work prior to the end of the course as they are all creating websites. Don't think the have worked out index files either :)
