Hide private appointments

Hi All,

 

Does anyone know of a way of hiding private appointments in a shared calendar?

My outlook calendar syncs with my phone and I share the calendar with my colleague...

When creating a new appointment in outlook click on the padlock icon (private) in the toolbar this then just shows that appointment as Busy time.

Cheers, but is there a way of having it completely invisible to the shared view?

I don't think there is as you would have a block of time that you had scheduled for something looking blank and then the possibility of scheduling conflicts. You either have your calendar as not shared or people able to see it and certain blocks of time shown as private.
