marsdenprimary Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Hi, I'm replacing some of our PC hard drives with SSD's and wondered how to transfer what's already on the PC to the new SSD? My question is can i image the current PC which is already connected to the domain by syprepping it and capturing an image with WDS and deploying that image back to the new hard drives?
chazzy2501 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 sysprepping removes the device from the domain. 1
marsdenprimary Posted March 13, 2013 Author Posted March 13, 2013 sysprepping removes the device from the domain. I see. so would I be able to do this without a problem then? Do you think this is the most efficient way?
sted Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 depends how many pcs there are might just be easier to use something like ghost/clonezilla put both drives in the pc and do a straight copy from hdd to ssd then remove the hdd 1

We only have 5 so this might be the best solution. Thankyou!
