[wds] Can you Image a PC already connected to a ?network

Hi,

 

I'm replacing some of our PC hard drives with SSD's and wondered how to transfer what's already on the PC to the new SSD? My question is can i image the current PC which is already connected to the domain by syprepping it and capturing an image with WDS and deploying that image back to the new hard drives?

I see. so would I be able to do this without a problem then? Do you think this is the most efficient way?

depends how many pcs there are might just be easier to use something like ghost/clonezilla put both drives in the pc and do a straight copy from hdd to ssd then remove the hdd

Sounds like a good option. We only have 5 so this might be the best solution. Thankyou!
