wiggum123 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Hey all I have a few questions about Frog; 1. Is there a way of keeping the aspect ratio of a photo when resizing 2. I am trying to create a form but am hitting a few issues. Some form elements can be set as required but not all. I need the users to tick the box accepting the terms and conditions but this does not seem to be able to be set as a required element. Also, the submit button does not seem to work. Does anyone know of a guide on how to create forms in Frog? 3. As a web designer it angers me greatly I cannot gain access to the HTML code of a page, anyone come across a way of doing this? Sorry for all the questions!! KCCO Ben
mthomas08 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 For the submit form button have you added a submit link in to the actual form? If you are struggling still create a new form, add the submit link right away and then drag and drop all the form contents on to the new form. As for the aspect ratio part, once an image size has been done it should be simple just to add it. For the HTML code of the page though I know you can get the HTML brick but not gain access to the code. Was designed really for those who are not coders Hopefully some of that helps 1
fs171 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 1. Not that i have found, I've been resizing in Photoshop/editing software, then re uploading. 2. You could use a radio button with only the option 'Agree' as these can be required fields. 3. There isn't a great deal of flexibility in terms of different user levels/knowledge. You can use some basic HTML when posting notices, and at some other times when creating widgets (FDP). Here is a very knowledgeable man on the subject. (i have just started looking properly at HTML/CSS/JS/ect.) Hope this helps 1
wiggum123 Posted March 13, 2013 Author Posted March 13, 2013 mthomas08 - Thanks for the submit button advice. I deleted the submit button I had in the form and reinserted it and it seemed to work :-) fs171 - The radio button option works a charm, thanks!! I realise I could use photoshop or similar to edit the pics but I wanted to use the same picture file in multiple pages at different sizes, just to be awkward really.
fs171 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 i know, is a pita to be honest but frogOS is meant to be a lot better when dealing with images - Auto resizing ect.
