fiza Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Several times today when I post or click a link I get a "website is unavailable" message. Clicking refresh fixes it but it is annoying. 1
Abaddon Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Same here - been happening most of the day I think. 1
ZeroHour Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Working on it, cheers. We have had a few load spike today.
ZeroHour Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Think I may have spotted why this is happening and I have rolled out a potential fix. let me know if it happens again.
saundersmatt Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Has been happening intermittently for me all day, via fixed-line and 3g, and is still occurring now. Matt 1
ZeroHour Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 (edited) Kicked a few things and tweaked a bit. It doesnt seem to occur for me often. Is it general browsing or posting thats causing the most errors? How fast is the site when your not getting these errors? Edited March 6, 2013 by ZeroHour
FN-GM Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Getting them pretty often. I do seem to get it every time I click the Whats New tab.
saundersmatt Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 It's for general browsing, although I don't post much. Site performs absolutely fine, very nippy otherwise.
6Foot2 Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 I was getting it earler today but not at all now. Tested: Create new thread, What's New Tab, Reply to a post, F5. All good.
SBennett Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 I just got one about 10 seconds ago but I've also been getting it on and off all day. Normally get it when clicking on threads or the whats new tab.
ZeroHour Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 I cant get it to occur so I cant capture the diagnostic header. If you run chrome can you possibly install https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/claire/fgbpcgddpmjmamlibbaobboigaijnmkl as it allows you to easily see the cloudflare IP Address, Ray ID and Railgun ID. If you can give me those numbers when you see an error I may be able to trace the problem.
6Foot2 Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 OK: Claire 0.4.4 added to Chrome. Waiting for an outage now.
RabbieBurns Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Yep here to report the same, cloudfare error. Took a screenshot but cant remember where i saved it to
ZeroHour Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Yeh that was a bizarre one, nothing seems wrong server side.
6Foot2 Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 OK. Just had an outage: http://i.snag.gy/sa9ad.jpg The IP was our domain based IP and would not be of any use for diagnosing this problem. HTH. 1
X-13 Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 I keep getting the CF-0 error as well. This morning I couldn't even connect with the app... "Failed to contact the server"
sparkeh Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Yeah just had this but get a white screen with "502 Bad Gateway" error.
WithoutMotive Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Had both the above error and a 502 this morning
CAM Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Same, something called Cloudflare-nginx? Came up with 502 Bad Gateway a few mins ago.
ZeroHour Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 (edited) I have contacted cloudflare but waiting for a response. The system has been disabled for the last few hours until we get an idea of why its happening. Thanks for the rayid Dave. What ISP's have you all experienced the issues on? I had very rarely seen the problem on sky myself. Edited March 7, 2013 by ZeroHour
sparkeh Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 What ISP's have you all experienced the issues on? RM (Talk Talk) at work and Virgin at home (broadband and mobile network)
6Foot2 Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 ...What ISP's have you all experienced the issues on?... Work: HGfL [updata] Home: Virgin [Don't recall seeing this at home though]
FN-GM Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Internet is with ZEN at work and TalkTalk at home both had the issues.
