Afternoon all,

This is probably general wallyness on my part but I have a query in relation to booking resources/rooms via outlook.

We have a conference room which staff can book via outlook. Our reception staff want to receive an email whenever the room is booked. All reception staff are part of one security group and they are all publishing editors of that calendar in addition to being delegates of the mailbox. Now, they will receive an email if there is a conflict with bookings, but they also want an email whenever the room is booked, regardless of a conflict or not. This is because they want to know whether refreshments are required etc. and it would save time and hassle checking the calendar. Is there (1) a way to do this, and (2) a way to set up an auto reply to the person who booked the room asking them if any items such as computer, refreshments etc are required?? We have Exchange Server 2010 and are running Office 2010.

Probably doing stuff a long winded way but I wondered if it was possible?

Thanks

Ian

if you look in the EMC on the required room mailbox Under the Resource Information tab there is a custom response section that can be edited.

i will look in my books about the first part
