KarlBlacklock Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Hi, We are currently looking for a new phone system. We are looking at a voip system using SIP trunking. We have had various quotes but would like to know what everyone is using and also which company you all use. The best quote we've had so far is from Teleconnexions based in Carlisle, this would be ideal for us as they provide our phone lines also

Millgate Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Hi there, We supply phone systems, traditional and voip. Drop me an email/PM if you need any more info Luke
MatthewL Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Try these guys, we had several systems off them and they were cheaper than other places although not sure on pricing as I never got involved with that but service is good.
twin--turbo Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 TeleCx are good guys though, We had our network installed by them in 1999, and bought a Hicom off them in 2K to replace a BT Kingsman. Other local Carlisle suppliers to get ideas from Gemini, System, OnlineSystem, IpRiver, etc... Carlisle is mostly populated with Simens & Samsung vendors. Rob
glennda Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 If you are happy doing it you can save a lot of money going with freepbx - the system I put in saved 15k against the cost of a paid version. Depending on how many extensions you require you could look at hosted cloud through the likes of natterbox but there is a sliding scale where the cost per month outweighs the cost of shelling out initially etc.
bclarke Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Take a look at 3CX. We are just looking at changing our old Norstar BCM50. A company called Trilan-IT are very competitive with installation and support and are very knowledgable. SIP calls are very reasonable too and the whole solution is set to drastically reduce our call costs. They have several large education establishments as reference sites too.
SchoolsBroadband Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 We do hosted VoIP & SIP trunking. In fact we give a free VoIP gateway to anyone using our leased line services.
