SimpleSi Posted March 4, 2013 Author Posted March 4, 2013 Its great for posting on here while installing printer driver. SlideIT is definitely easier/more accurate than on S2:)
LosOjos Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Have you tried out multi-window yet? That's awesome, and I believe the first instance of real multi tasking on a smart phone (by first I mean Samsung were first, it first appeared on the Note and later on S3 via an update)
edutech4schools Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 When the phone company offer you a new phone turn it down and ask for a cheaper contract. I am with T-Mobile and get 500 mins + 500txts 3gb (but it is not capped) for £10 per month

I understand that you could save the difference and outright buy a new phone in 12 months, but who's got that kind of patience? 1

john Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 aah the John Smith economy model How Dare You (said in really gruff angry scary voice) My model is be on PAYG for 12 years then bite the bullet and go to a contract, get a contract with a phone and then use the phone as a toy as I have a perfectly good Microsoft phone, oh and then use eBay or ICT Direct for new handsets for a few phones. I haven't had a brand new phone for about 4 handsets now they have all been refurbs / open box specials etc.. I am tempted by the Nokia that @ZeroHour has as that was very shiny and it worked with my gloves on That is a win for me with a touch screen phone that I can use with gloves without a fat fingers pressing wand However it lacks a keyboard and I need that for fat fingers replying to emails on the move seen as Microsoft are still messing around with the Surface Pro not being out in the UK yet....
SimpleSi Posted March 6, 2013 Author Posted March 6, 2013 PS Battery is lasting longer than my S2 (which had a double capacity one fitted!) e.g S2 would last until about 7pm before beeping at me that it was low - Note 2 has not done that all so far Simon
plexer Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 You just buy touchscreen compatible gloves they're great. Ben
SimpleSi Posted March 6, 2013 Author Posted March 6, 2013 I was thinking he needs to move down south where its a warm and balmy 21 degrees all year around - so no need for the gloves at all Simon Softy - at least ZH works in near artic conditions - he's got an excuse for choosing it

Arthur Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 You just buy touchscreen compatible gloves they're great. No need for special gloves with the new Galaxy S4! (skip to 01:59) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LHv1FPd1Ec&hd=1
StacyLarkin Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 I've got a Galaxy S3 and am very happy with it (bought in December last year), although I wish I'd waited a little longer as the S4 is due out soon and looks even better (of course)!
