Server 2008 R2 Key

Hi Everyone,

 

I ordered some licences on Monday for the following;

 

1* Microsoft Windows Server 2012

2* Microsoft SQL 2012 Server Standard Core

1* Microsoft Windows Server 2012 CAL

1* Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Media

 

I received the media and invoice today but the media has written on it that it requires a key,

were do I get this from ??? I have emailed the licence company but they have not replied yet.

 

Is it a case of registering with Microsoft so they can confirm I have purchased the licence and then they send me the key ???

 

They also told me that I dont need a key for SQL 2012 ???

Its OK thanks guys the licencing company have just sent me the key.

Hi Stan have you not looked into EES? or volume licensing?
