[ms office - 2010] Repeat Activation

Does anyone know why every so often one or more of my computers suddenly demands activation for Office 2010? These are not new, varying from 18 months to three years old and they were all properly activated in the first place. So far I havent had the same machine ask more than once but I have no clue as to why this is happening.

Did you activate using KMS or MAK?

Any chance that some pupils are running the startup repair and rolling the machines back? (probably kill domain trust as well though)

 

KMS re-activation sounds like a good culprit. You could run VAMT on all your PCs and check activation states.

No - startup repair isnt being run

The machines were activated individually after having been imaged, using a Volume License Key
