I'm trying to find out where I can download our KS2 fine level scores so I can import them into SIMS. I cannot find them in Keys to Success (although I can find the test raw so I am at a loss!

Any ideas?

if you login to FFT Live and click on the export option -> on the next screen click on the subject estimate option for the current Key Stage of the student you want the Fine grades for. -> this will display you a data sheet with options at the top, select the end of Key Stage year for the students you want in Year drop down -> next select "Sub-Level" in the show KS2/3 Test As deopdown -> then select "KS2" from the from Key Stage drop down and click View Report.

This will then give you an exportable list of student data with in this it will be the sudents KS2 Fine Levels for English, Maths and science (please notes there are some years where the tests where boycotted, if this is the case only a whole level TA will be disp;ayed for these students)

if you want a file you can import in to your MIS you can select a compatible file format and click export.

hope this helps.

NCA tools is the official source, vikpaw linked it above.

Last time I checked FFT did some slightly different rounding calculations compared to the DfE, so I just go straight to the source.

You can get KS2 results for your KS5 students from there too. FFT don't cover KS5 students yet - as they don't do estimates for KS5.

I don't think any official measure is based on their KS2, pretty sure they are all related to KS4 results.

However it's always nice to have a full set of results for all students currently in your school - keeps the OCD quiet.

Where are people getting stuff in NCA Tools by the way? I log in but nothing to pick up old data, just says the pupil download is closed.

Ah, Sorry to clarify, new KS2 data appears in NCA tools - so this september's year 7s will be available on there when the results open on 10th July.

Old data is indeed on Key to Success for 2007-2017 which should cover every student you've got.

As for the actual fine scores - typically we the data people have to calculate them - hertfordshire council usually have a nice spreadsheet that helps do the heavy lifting for you.

Alternatively the tables checking website has a downloadable CSV with the actual ks2 fine scores the DfE will use for your Progress 8 calculations - but it's only your current year 11s that are on there.

There are KS2 fine level calculator templates available from Capita via your SIMS support team, this allows you to import the CTF from NCA tools or Key to Success and then calculate in SIMS.net.

Thanks. I found it in FFT in the end. Turns out when importing 4Matrix doesn't accept scaled scores anyway as they don't yet know how they will work for P8 legwork, etc.
