uffy2000 Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 AHHH ill give this a go "if your trying to activate win 8 its probably easier to set up a win8 vm to be the kms host just shove the kms key in and it should work no pratting round" push comes to shove, deffinatly take a look at VAMT it comes as part of AIK and works with AD, you can set it to activate with MAK keys via the console so you can use that instead of KMS

I have checked the dns entry which doesnt exist because it cant update the server dns i dont think. If I specified the kms manually using /skms it will not activate a client same error Edited February 15, 2013 by squeeky

squeeky Posted February 25, 2013 Author Posted February 25, 2013 I put in a windows 8 client and used the KMS host key and then dns entries etc all just turned up automaticaly now i just need to activate 15 pcs
