I have a few vista laptops now on the network (unfortunately toshiba thought it would be a good idea not to make XP drivers for the hardware).

When a user logs on to the machine although the foldername on the server is still correct (username) all of the vista profile folders seem to be shown as 'Documents' instead of the actual foldername. Is the a way of stopping that happening without manually renaming it to the foldername it already has ?

Cheers

I made a complete error sorry, it's the Home drive not the profile folder so their 'My Documents' is displaying on my server as 'Documents' instead of their username (see attachment screenshot)

It happens with XP as well, I have a range of student profiles and home areas showing Application Data as the name rather than the username.

I had to ban the servers from saving Desktop.ini files.. when we went to browse the share it could take upwards of 2 or 3 minutes to list them, it was listing about 1200 folders.
