Anyone else read this? Set aside an afternoon over the weekend for the last volume - it didn't disappoint!

 

A tragedy-struck family moves to their ancestral home where they discover a number of special keys that have various magical properties - but someone else knows about the keys, too. The art at the beginning of the series is a little disappointing, but the artist finds his feet by later volumes. Otherwise, thorough;y recommended. Even the one "odd" chapter eventually makes sense.

 

Was made into a (impossible to track down) pilot in 2011. Could have been great, though one wonders how a TV show would have managed some of the weirdness in the later volumes.
