Can I buy computers with ANY Win7 OEM licence to upgrade with EES?

But just wanted to check - when I buy new machines, it doesn't matter which version of W7 come with them as long as there is one? For some reason I got it in my head I needed to buy them with W7 Pro

Yep, you're correct, any version will do as long as it's an OEM version or full retail version.

Big manufacturers won't give you Home most of the time, Stone etc will though

Dell will, most others will if buying in quantity to order but not for off the shelf systems.

Any OEM licence will do... if you could get hold of Win95 OEM licences still, they'd be sufficient.

 

Except Microsoft have retired all but the Win7 SKUs to push the price up, the swines.
