mrbios Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Does anyone know of any cases like the ones novatech have here: https://www.novatech.co.uk/pc/range/novatechpronai23.html I'm looking for empty ones that can sit on the desk side on and have the monitor mounted to the side. Unfortunately Novatech tell me they can't sell them without the parts and that they're EOL as of next week with no new stock (of presumably a new model) until 2018! Looking everywhere but i can't find anything like it

NB9457 Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Not sure if you're building you're own or re-casing some PCs, but we wanted a similar solution and ended up settling on intel NUCs, not looked back at all, they've been absolutely great.
mrbios Posted September 6, 2017 Author Posted September 6, 2017 Here's one https://www.quietpc.com/mono-aio and another ATX Desktop, Tower, Combo PC case chassis with monitor VESA mount. BL-01B. WT01L or roll your own Mounting Monitor to Computer Case: 6 Steps Unfortunately none fit the bill in terms of having the height and tilt adjustment of the monitors that the novatech ones give you. The latter two links aren't viable unfortunately. (and the quiet PC one is a bit on the ugly side ) The purpose of these is to rehouse some PCs in cases that are going to be teacher PCs in science labs, and in the science labs they have tall standing desks, so i needed something with that easy height and tilt adjustment. I would get NUCs, however as we've already got brand new monitors and PCs that have 2-3 years more life in them in there i don't really have the money to be buying more expensive ones with height and tilt adjustments at the moment or new PCs, and the PC needs to be on the desk due to space (But not enough space on the desk to have a full case). So you can see my issue really, the Novatech ones fit the bill perfectly. Basically mounting the monitor to the case is the only cost effective and space saving option i have, all others involve the reverse mounting the case to the monitor.
caffrey Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 ICT-Direct do some HP USDTs that are similar - they have a bracket that can incorporate a monitor

Seems they have something even more ideal in the form of these:http://www.ict-direct.co.uk/monitors/monitor-stands/small-form-factor-all-in-one-stand.html However the mount is perfect but i would need some cases that fit in them now... 1
Arthur Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Does anyone know of any cases like the ones Novatech have here: https://www.novatech.co.uk/pc/range/novatechpronai23.html @VeryPC sell a PC that uses the exact same case. Perhaps it might be worth contacting them too? They might tell you who the OEM/ODM is. https://www.very-pc.co.uk/products/classroom-pc/flex 2
Katy Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 @VeryPC sell a PC that uses the exact same case. Perhaps it might be worth contacting them too? They might tell you who the OEM/ODM is. https://www.very-pc.co.uk/products/classroom-pc/flex They look like Zoostorm cases. Zoostorm do "your-brand-here" PC build contracts in the UK but we've found through our usual supplier that they aren't interested in smaller orders any more, never tried to just get the case out of them though. 1
