2 player PS 3 Games

I am after or looking for a 2 player PS 3 game , not football / fifa but more RPG / Shoot em ups or that sort of thing , any ideas ?

Do you mean strictly 2 player on the same console or the possibility of co-op/versus over PSN?

 

Straight off the top of my head - Rainbow Six: Vegas 2, a brilliant tactical shooter with co-op mode in both storyline and other modes.

 

EDIT: Of course - there's always the Kane & Lynch games, along with the Army of Two games

Is the training where you're pitted against bots? Can you play it offline 2 player with bots? I had a quick look last night but could only see the training whilst logged into live - which doesnt work with a guest account! - Ooops... just noticed we're in a PS3 thread!

 

Ended up playing zombies for a bit instead...

 

Would definitely recommend Rainbow 6 2 - vegas, story mode + terrorist hunt both great, and you level up and unlock guns and stuff as you play.

 

The first kane and lynch was pretty funny, the second was god awful - AVOID

 

Army of two's good for a few hours...

 

Also - resident evil 5 is amazing!

I'm not sure, but yes there are bots using the names of your friends on the PSN. but they are all offline - but it is really quite fun.

Anyone have Borderlands? Can you same console co-op on that?

Co-Optimus - Borderlands (Playstation 3) Co-Op Info Page - apparently you can, but I'd never even considered co-op for borderlands! Will be epic if it works... will check tonight.
