Marking threads as sorted

As a frequent flyer on this superb Forum almost invariably my (sometimes muppet) questions are answered to enable me to move on. Is there a facility in the Forum which enables answered threads to be marked as sorted out, or is it there already - I just haven't noticed it yet!!

cant the op change the title of the thread to problem (solved post 8) or similar

Yes that's an idea but I was thinking more along the lines of say a green tick on the left of the thread. Currently there are 2 boxes to the left when you do a search for New Posts, the first 1 being an option to mark the thread as read - not sure what the 2nd one is for?

For vBulletin you can colour the prefixes so it might be an option to have a prefix which is, say, green and says RESOLVED or [sOLUTION] etc.
