I've just noticed that Scan had sold out of these and their price of £32.75 is very resonable (until you add on the postage ).

I then took a look at Amazon and noticed that last week the price was around the £35 mark. Now it is about £37 with one outfit demanding £44.99!

I think there is going to be a rush-on soon!

Quite probably! The joystick market is rather limited. It goes from this model up to the X52, which is a big jump in price.

 

I'm sure the joystick market has shrunk dramatically since I was a kid. Do people not buy joysticks any more or something?

I suspect so. I don't think a game has been this eagerly anticipated for a while now. Especailly with almost zero publicity from the developers.

I should have mentioned that I get free shipping on orders over £20 with Scan due to being a member of the Hexus forums (as @synaesthesia said above).

Scan is only 20 mins drive away for me anyhow. And I noticed last week that, rather cheekily, Dabs had opened an office almost next to them!

Bought one of these for my brother and it arrived this weekend.

 

I have to say.... it's a nifty bit of kit... and i am very close to swapping him for my warthog. I just dont like the million buttons on the warthog throttle and joystick.

 

The T Flight Hotas X is just... simple. It does everything he needs, and it s a nifty setup with custom binds.

 

If anyone would like some custom binds, i'll post here.

 

Also, the price has stayed the same on ebay, so get them while they're hot!

Now at £39.99 on Amazon (from Amazon). I'll order from Scan on backorder and wait I think.

Dabs have them for £29.98, but I prefer Scan. Anyone know any online outlets with the 'normal' price and in stock?

Well, it seems that Elite Dangerous has led to a rush for these as Amazon UK are now out of stock. I ended up paying slightly over the odds, but at least I have one
