MSI for paint.net and GIMP?

paint.net download the normal version and then from command line run paint.net.exe and its something like /createmsi or /makemsi will create the x86 and x64 msi's Edited May 26, 2016 by sted

It creates a folder on your desktop:

C:\Users\%username%\Desktop\PaintDotNetMsi

 

PaintDotNet_x64.msi

PaintDotNet_x86.msi

With regard to paint.net there are instructions on how to make a compatible MSI installer here using command line options and the download on their website. Unattended Installation

(Basically it's type /createMsi at the end and it should generate the standalone installers on your desktop).

 

Still looking for GIMP atm.

All be it an older version now, the wonderful @Arthur made a couple of MSIs back in 2013 it seems but the links are dead.

No problem, glad it worked.

 

I appreciate you might want an MSI for Gimp, but for info you can run the exe with a command param:

C:\Users\%username%\Downloads\gimp-2.8.16-setup-2.exe /verysilent

 

Give it a min or 2 in the background, (or watch with taskman) and it will just install with defaults without displaying a GUI.
