ok...so ive set everything up...and i can start to setup a capture of an image and i get an error.... capturing image the parameter is incorrect driving me mad...anyone had this or got any ideas to help me out? looked on hte net...nothing out there for help.

i've got loads! must be around 30ish... i'll speak to the SBM tomorrow for him to ok it... some more detials would be good re money. i know what they are like at our place...money = teachers lol Ps. not after any pc's are you? ive got around 100ish goin "spare" lol

of course...deleteing the file on the server share... checking registry...proxy settings...they ran out of ideas...

Ok, this software (as previously stated) is rubbish....how can i have one mahcine that works...log's into the software fine...and another that doesnt! i have my test pc that i used to get it up and running...now when trying to get it on the exam sec's pc i get an error "test center authenticaion failed" anyone else had this??

Hi all, will be advertising the job in the new year but thought i'd put the word out early. Job will involve... IT Support (of course) Supporting the Perfomring Art's - Music Software, Sound & Lighting, brand new recording studio experince with Meida software also would be good a day a week supporting local Primary school (when i say local i mean local - 1 min walk away) a day a week supporting a partner school based at a very successful coventry school - (cant name it just yet ) put alot of money being put into IT every year, two new school buildings and an existing team of 5 full time staff and 3 apprentice's. pay is pending on city council - likley to be around £13,000 any questions feel free to ask or PM me

well like it says in the forum title...how do you do it? see we are lucky to have 3 full time techs - 5 modern apps - a network co-ordinator and network manager. we have 6 buildings - one tech based four and two in the remaining two. they are responsible for ALL it stuff in the whole buidling. this does work well as they take responisbility for everything and have no way to claim they knew nothing about problems or requests etc. course this does cause problems where there is a lack of communication and a lack of general IT knowledge on day to day IT faults on the network. works well as staff know where to go for IT help in the building/area they are in but leaves full time techs bogged down in general day to day IT work that when they need to be off dealing with other more important issues. we are a technology colege and aspirations are very high on IT use but staff scared and untrusting on the system, im still trying to get the boss to let me change my job to be more staff lead and get them confident in the systems they use and the network..maybe next year...my bright idea for the moment was to hold an IT support event in the hall/theatre (yes we have both!) demonstating what we actaully do, dealing with issues, talking to staff, demonstating what they can do with the system or them telling us what they want from the system etc. we have so much technology here but is used so little...a VC unit used less than 10 times in 3 years, activboards with activvote used...less than 10 times, software brought - used less than 10 times...digital dispays - used with powerpoint - used poorly. do you see where i'm going here? we have all the ideas and technology but staff lack confidence in making use...my idea of having a day to see the staff get them confident with using the systems and not to be scared of it all..their worry is it not working and messing up the lesson, would love to combat that fear! i work with a primary school also...its amazing how much they adapt to not having IT working compared to a secondary school! any thoughts to my suggstions would be brill!!! thanks

G4 job? serious??? i do twice as much work for a G3!!! inculding management of staff and looking after a local primary school! had it been all year round i'd apply for sure! right i'm having words with the boss about my job description!!!!

i just change the settings on the projector to 4:3 instead of the auto settings...?
