When you look at buying a Chromebook I would check its Auto Update Expiration date on this website https://support.google.com/chrome/a/answer/6220366?hl=en Make sure you get at least 4 year out of it. These dates do get extended sometimes.

Whats the best way to setup gmail on an iPhone?
fiza replied to TwistedHelixis's topic in How do you do....it?
We have found this too. We recommend users use the Gmail app. -
Try Udemy. They have sales on regularly and courses go as low as £10. I would check reviews of the individual courses first before enrolling. https://www.udemy.com

Ok so if it's coming from a network drive then it creates a local copy first and then uploads to Drive? Seems a bit long winded!

Have a look at Cloud Ready by Neverware https://www.neverware.com/edu#eduintro Basically converts old hardware into Chrome devices. Might be life left in your Thinkpads yet depending on how much Cloudready costs you.

It was only 1.9GB of data. The user left it transferring and went away. When it was looked at again a few hours later it looked like it had completed so the user tried to log off. Not sure what the upload rate was.

Standard users here don't have access to the system tray. We did check the size of the folder in Drive and it matched the size it should be so the user has logged off now.

First use of File Stream by a user to upload a folder from Network Drive home folder to Google Drive. Used copy and paste method to drop it into Google Drive folder. Did the usual Microsoft dialogue box showing copying of files. After about 30-40 minutes it disappeared and it looked like files had copied across. User goes to log off but log off is prevented by drive as message shows "(waiting for) Drive file Stream is still syncing files. This is preventing Windows from logging off." It's been like that for the last 30 minutes. Any one seen this before?

Papercut MG - How to charge for paper type / adjustments
fiza replied to clm's topic in How do you do....it?
Ok we do that through the Web Cashier functionality. Go to options>General and scroll down to "Web Cashier" and setup. https://www.papercut.com/tour/web-cashier/ We give our Reprographics person access to the Web Cashier and she charges for things like that. -

On the printer details page there is a 'charging' tab and there you can select different prices for different paper size. -
We have never found anything and we have been using Classroom since it was introduced.

How does that affect Teachers in a classroom who may be showing a static display on the board for longer than 15 minutes?
