Hi guys I am able to change every entity but there is'nt one for contact us at all. I have been looking around the menu manager but there is no trace. I thought it was a module but it is'nt :S It must be hidden somewhere !! out there !!! ha ha

Sorry to blow your candle out my friend. But I have all ready looked there but I can't see any instances at all. I can see all the other entities but nothing to do with "Contact Us"

Just installed the lastest Edugeek project. works nicely. Been having a play But when i go to the global configuration page it fails i get 500 - Internal server error. There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed. Anyone else had this problem. I have set write permitions on the config.php, still no joy ELP !! Many Thanks

Hi all hope you can help I'm wanting to read content from a folder and display this on a webpage. Thus when we have letters home ect parents are able to download them !! and dont need to keep updating the website. I use to do this on my old school webpage but for the life of me could'nt work out how i done it. Any ideas Thank You !!

I have been in both situations. My previous school used desktop pc in every class room. They worked really well if they have an external link to their documents from home and are able to upload content for the next day. They hardly ever went wrong, and most useful for teachers who stay in the same room all the time. Downside they seem to harbour junk !!! The school I’m currently in have laptops for all members of staff with a network account and a local account. It’s very easy for members of staff to carry their documents with them. They do take up a lot of tech time due to breakages, but as long you keep them under warrantee there not too bad. The setting up of them takes the time. We get a few call outs a day with projector problems and Network Problems as staff don’t plug bits in correctly. If you have a small limited amount of technicians I would go the desktop route if you have time on your hands the laptop is probably the better solution for the teacher.

We are having a few problems with large prints failing to these printers. We have some DDR2 256 meg loaptop ram kicking around. Has anyone tried upgrading the printer Ram Did It Work? Do you know if these modules are the same as the latop Ram Any advise would be helpfull. Many Thanks

I have recorded some tv.which records in a ts format. Does anyone know how to record a ts file with the subititles. I have Nero 9 and win tv 7 Also i would like to convert it to a wmv with subtitles to. I understand that a Ts file is just an Mpeg with subtitles. But i cant seem to record with with subtitles dispayed. ELP !! Many Thanks

When you start the new project make sure you have setup your project video to wide screen. Off the top of my head i cant remember how this is done but its in the the project settings when you create a new project As for the video running fast *!!$$ ?? Hope this helps Ryan

I have found a perfect solution !!! in the name of !!! NERO 9 Yes it does cost £30 but hell is it worth it !! You can import a dvd then edit the chapters ect then can export as a WMV !! I'm a Happy Bunny !!!

Yeh we have aload of recorded tv which is on Dvds so it not protected. just want a click of a button and walk away job. Can you stream other file type as i have only done it with wmv's I think somthing have to be paid for. I think this is one of them

Anyone got any ideas or programs on how to add chapters to a dvd easily. I was going to convert to an AVI and spit it up in to single avi files then burn a dvd with nero. Any nice programs you guys use to convert a dvd to avi Cheers !!

Ah this does only happen on a network share humm ... BUT WE HAVE A BREAK THROUGH !!! I Have completly disable sync in the local group policey, done a cold re-boot and the problem has been solved !!! Was it the disabling the sync that done it or did i do somthing else .... My problems solved. Could you guys and gals let me know if this solves the problem on your machines. Many Thanks
