  1. If you're looking for helpdesk software, I'd recommend you take a look at Web Help Desk. It really is excellent software and there is a free edition which allows one Tech user to use the software. There are paid for licence options too if you need more Techs, but the prices are very reasonable.   2. Thats correct! This free 1 Tech lite edition allows you to support as many clients as you need as long as you only require 1 Technician to support them. You only pay for the software if you need more than 1 Tech, and even then the pricing is very reasonable. There are two editions - Lite and Pro depending on what feature set you need. This free edition uses the Lite functionality. As for Schools buying the Lite/Pro software, if they require more than 1 Tech there are some great educational discounts available!
