In sims services manager the InTouch service was not started after a server reboot.

Hi we have had a issue when we sent a parent message out via Intouch. we sent out 22 messages but only 1 went through, the others all failed. The date and time of the message that went through was 28.06.2018 15:13 The date and time of the messages that failed showed as 01.01.1900 00:00 Any idea as to why this would be? or know of a way I can get more details as to why they failed?

As I see it then there are 2 problems neither look like being resolved any time soon Microsoft - Need to add group policy entry's to control edge extensions Impero - Way impero works as a addon/Extension might need to be looked at. Other monitoring software's work without the need for a addon/Extension what means they capture the data on a different level.

Internet explorer is a Microsoft legacy and I can see it being removed in future Builds of windows 10 other wise does not make much sense making a new browser for your operating system. Removing/Disabling the browser that is integrated in to the operating system just so you get one piece of software to work should not have to be a option. I would like to see Microsoft to implement a way to push out extensions across the network from servers.

The Latest version of Impero now has Edge support by using a extension you can download from windows store. Once installed it works fine till you switch user what results in extension having to be installed and authorised to run for every new user that logs on to the PC. Is there a way of deploying a extension in edge via group policy to all users and not to require each users authorisation for it to run.? Or is there a way to install extension on the PC and apply it to all users who login? Or is there another way to go about this? (Other than change classroom management software or Disabling Edge) Thanks in advance for any insight you might be able to share.

eventually I did after much annoyance. Solution Start Settings Time & Language Region & language Add English (US) if not present & Set English (US) as default Remove English (UK) Reinstall English (UK) and set as default this then resolved my issue.

Hi, For some strange reason spell check no longer works in IE or edge after I upgrade to 1709. This is annoying when typing e-mails, helpdesk & forum posts that have errors in only to notice after you sent a reply. The same thing happened when I did upgrade to 1703 but I was able to fix it but for the life of me can't recall what I did to get it working again. Any ideas?
