www.suttonhigh.gdst.net/ICT-Technician An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic ICT Technician to join Sutton High School’s ICT team. Working with an experienced ICT Manager and Senior Technician you will have an opportunity to grow and develop your skills with hands-on work. You will be responsible for first line support as well as helping to upgrade and maintain the ICT systems and have responsibility for maintaining the school’s virtual learning environment and uploading content to the website. Much of the support will involve interacting directly with teachers and office staff in their classrooms or offices rather than staying at a desk and escalating calls.

Permanent and full-time with 38 days' holiday including bank holidays Contributory pension scheme Sutton High School GDST require an ICT Technician. As a key member of the support staff you will be responsible for providing technical support for the school’s ICT systems. Key responsibilities include: The monitoring, maintenance, availability and integrity of the school's ICT infrastructure Understanding the teaching and learning needs of the school to support the delivery of the appropriate ICT systems Advise on system enhancements and make recommendations for improvements Resolving support issues and managing problems through to resolution Assist to ensure that robust data backup systems are in place and undertake periodic testing We are looking for someone with the following experience: A strong and in depth technical understanding of ICT systems Proven experience of server and network infrastructure Experience of diagnosing and resolving complex technical errors Experience of providing advice and guidance to users in their use of ICT equipment Experience of devising system procedures and policies Experience of implementing ICT systems change Experience of implementing Apple Computer technology Experience in MDM solutions Experience in Hyper V and VMware platforms Closing date: Wednesday 6 September 2017 Interviews are likely to be held week commencing Monday 11 September 2017 To find out more, download the application form and apply for the vacancy, visit www.suttonhigh.gdst.net/vacancies Sutton High School is a leading independent girls’ school situated in the London Borough of Sutton.
