Hi all, I'm looking for a desktop ticker program that will be run over a network in a school. Ideally linking through Active Directory to perhaps give different messages to different groups of users. It will need to be able to pull down "news" from RSS feeds, and be able to give out messages, for example - Fire Drill today at 2pm. We don't want it to be too intrusive to the point where it gets in peoples way, would be better if it could auto hide until there is new news to be shown for example. If anyone has come across anything like this, or has any ideas, I would be grateful to hear them. Cheers, Rab EDIT: I should also add that the machines on the network are XP. The server is 2003.
