Well the graphics card, mobo and psu are fantastic and should last easily 5 years or more for the usage you've described. How much are you able to put away? Also remember prices have fluctuations so what is good now might not be good in 6 months in terms of price, however as tech progresses the cost for 'outdated' tech gets cheaper. Thankfully in your circumstances you have a great base to work from! RAM wise if I upgrade mine anytime soon you can have a 4gb stick for half the current cost :-)

I think there are xeons but I wouldn't use them for a gaming or home pc. I'd put them to use for a server.

That article is correct for single named like server.local however some companies and professionals who have been dealing with servers since the early 80s (before I was born) using Unix and DOS did use server.company.local and have done since. I worked in an environment (IBM in London) where a small handful of these legacy servers are running still due to some old legacy system still in place and work seamlessly with other Unix/Linux/Nt based servers. Hell IBM, Intel and Novell all did manuals (old school ring binders which were as thick as my palm) which said it was best to use the .Local domains. Many have since said if doing single side ones don't use it but if doing more then it's best practice. I may even have one of these manuals at my mums. When I go round on Sunday I'll have a hunt for it.

At only a fiver more than the 4670 it's worth it on that alone. Also performance wise it's decent. You could go higher, you could go lower, but that is what I would take.

Than that is an Apple fault. Best practice has been around since the days of unix/linux servers to use .local for many servers, so they should really have known that before making bonjour use it!

If my Unix servers, Linux Servers, and Windows servers can all function perfectly well on a .local domain, why can't an apple server? I am genuinely curious on this.

@MrMat can you post up that set of macros for me please? That would be handy (though I would edit it for other programs we use here). @LosOjos I ended up getting it to copy selection to another page, replace the section breaks with page breaks then print that, then close and leave the original unaltered...best solution around for it, but I do appreciate your help. We use a bespoke software here which will insert items into a section break then print, but if they needed to print something using our formatted macros, the section break wouldn't work within the macros. Hence this needing to be done. But thank you anyway.

Germany have 1 advantage over all other European teams, they built their own resort to stay in and it is an hour away from each stadium they play the group stages in (and subsequent knock outs up to semi finals) so they have a max of 1 hour on the coach and no fatigue. All other teams are having to fly in country or take coaches to get to the stadiums etc, which wont help them. *edit* As for Spain, recent form suggests they wont retain their title. Drawn against Chile, Lost to South Africa (fielding a full strength squad), just barely beating Italy.
